Typhoon Fung-Wong - Alert Precautions for TMU
I. Typhoon Preparedness and Safety Measures
1. Turn off all unnecessary power sources.
2. Cover important equipment with waterproof plastic sheets and elevate them to prevent water damage.
3. Ensure all doors and windows are securely closed. Remove items from window ledges (e.g., vases, ornaments) to prevent ceiling and indoor property damage caused by wind-driven rain through open windows.
4. After typhoon landfall, there may be brief power outages from Taipower. Do not use elevators during this time to avoid being trapped inside.
5. After work, do not linger around the exterior of the building to avoid injury from falling debris from outer walls.
6. Return home promptly after work and avoid staying on campus.

III. When Waterproof Gates Are Activated at Parking Lots (e.g., parking lot entrances closed due to flooding):
■ Xinyi Campus (including Mu-Shan Dormitory): Please park in the surface parking lot instead.
■ Shuangho Campus: Please park in the hospital parking lot.
- When leaving, please press the intercom and identify yourself as a Shuangho Campus monthly permit holder.
- Parking is free during the typhoon period; after the typhoon ends, a temporary parking fee will be charged for continued parking.
IV. When a Land Typhoon Warning Is Issued and Classes/Work Are Canceled
■ Xinyi and Shuangho Campuses:

- Common area (classrooms, meeting rooms, and other activity areas) will be closed.
- Shuttle bus services between campuses will be suspended.
- Shuanghe Hospital will add a dedicated employee shuttle bus from Jingan Station with the following schedule and locations:
- Departure Point: Right side of Jingan Station exit → Departure Times: 07:20, 07:40
- Departure Point: Entrance of Building 1, Shuanghe Hospital → Departure Time: 17:40
